For this assignment, let us consider my previous organization and name it Company X. Also, let
us consider only two teams to maintain confidentiality in not revealing the entire company and
groups involved.
The current state of data in the organization:
Considering Company X is a hardware wireless communication company, two sets of devices are
involved in its business. One is the Base Station, and the other is the Modem. Now, let us
investigate data collection as part of these devices. Each device collects and stores its data in its
memory. Data is dispersed across multiple systems and databases, leading to data silos and
redundancy (International, 2017). Now, the problem is, what if a Modem loses connectivity with
the Base Station? What if a Base Station loses control of the Enterprise Management System?
The logs stay in respective systems, which will never be accessible; we might be unable to figure
out what action was performed before the loss of connectivity.

from all the Base Stations and Modems connected to the EMS system. Limited control over data
access, usage, and security poses risks to data integrity and privacy
